| Dani's T-Room.com Shop started in 2003 listing just a handful of clip on earrings as a convenient way to pass them around friends. Neither Danielle or Angela, the founders, had pierced ears. Dani had her ears pierced at 16 and it turned nastier than a jilted ex. She keeps a lump in her lobe to this day to serve as a reminder that fashion as a king is sometimes a very stupid ruler. Angela doesn't do pain and insists piercing is bad for her energy flow and that we should all consult our accupuncturists prior to ruining our meridians.
Within just a few years we started to see over a quarter of a million unique visitors a year and people from around the world started ordering our clip on earrings. It wasn't just young girls, old ladies and drag queens either. Celebrities and fashion shows started ordering and it turns out there are a lot of women with allergies, injuries (often from piercing) or pain aversions that prevent them from wearing pierced earrings. The simple fact was that we had great looking fashion earrings in styles that previously you could only get if you were a pierced earring wearer.
