The Treacles are a fun loving foursome from London, who play a mix of pop and rock. To hear them play you'd be forgiven for thinking that they were talented girls yet the fact that this is a transgender band makes them all a little more remarkable - after all, I struggle to get away from the hallway mirror just to go to the supermarket, let alone get up and play in front of a crowd!
Their latest release is a happy little number called "Sparkle". It's available for download through Amazon and all proceeds are being donated towards this year's Sparkle Transgender Celebration. The Treacles will be headlining the all transgender entertainment stage on Saturday 11th July's Sparkle in the Park, with other acts including Oestrogenix, Kinky Minx, Gloria and Natalie B.
