Home IPL hair removal systems are less high powered and only offer light in the range that is effective at hair removal. Yet they cost a tiny fraction of what a commercial IPL hair removal system would and are attractively priced against a course at a hair removal salon - if you have a number of areas you want to treat, a home IPL hair removal kit may well work out cheaper.
I've often said that you generally get what you pay for. I've found that to be true of a wide range of beauty techniques from hair colouring to make up. However that doesn't mean that more expensive is better. If I pay £1,000 for a treatment and get £1,000 worth of result, then a £250 system that delivers £500 of result is twice as good.
