Since I started this shop in 2005, I've been overwhelmed by the support I've had from my customers who've thanked me for sourcing such a large selection of hard to find items and for stocking only the best beauty products made by big cosmetics brands.
If you explore the site or if you came to this page from elsewhere on Dani's T-Room, you'll soon know that I'm transexual. What does that mean to you? If you are transgendered, then you know you can shop here safely. If you were born female then you've come to the right place for fantastic beauty products and tips - it sure hasn't been easy for me to look like this! Really, I'm not joking... I'm happy to be of assistance to anyone who wants to improve their image as I believe that when you feel good about the way that you look you are a happier, more confident individual. And on a more serious point, this site is operated by a full UK limited company so there's no funny business.
When I first started using make up, I was really disheartened. I looked more at home in a comic book! Things wouldn't sit right, or it would dissolve, or it would make me break out, or the colours would clash - I've had every disaster you can possibly think of and others you probably would never have guessed! But because I needed to look presentable in order to be able to live a life where I wasn't the butt of everyone's joke, I persevered, experimenting, studying and practicing as much as I could. I'm delighted to say that it paid off. In 2002 Mary Kay let me become their first ever transgendered Beauty Consultant, in 2003 Clinique asked if I would sit on a research panel and in 2004 I was invited to model as one of Elizabeth Arden's covergirls for Flare magazine.
More recently I've supplied a number of TV, theatre and fashion shows and celebrities with their jewellery, as well as many weddings. Don't you just love weddings?! Me too! It's always an honour to be just a small part of it, like supplying the bride and maids with matching earrings for all, whether pierced or clip.
I can't promise to change the way you look, but I can promise to only sell you beauty products that are some of the best in their category. Unlike many online shops, I put as much information as I can about each product on display so you can get the feel for each. I also have application and usage tips as well as solutions for common problems that I've learned doing make up for people. And if you're at a loss, you can always email me - it's the little bits of information that can make all the difference to how you look and feel when it comes beauty.
All orders placed on my shop are shown as payments to "Rising Dragon Ltd" and delivery is generally within a few days of order, although I will send you a courtesy note informing you exactly when to expect your order. You can shop online or you can call our offices on 0845 051 9319. There's always someone in, everyday of the week, and if it's just one of the PA's they'll take your details and someone will return your call to take your order.
